Amazon Holiday Party Dresses & Giveaway

Since my Amazon swimsuit guide was such a big hit, I got a request for an Amazon holiday dresses post. I love my local shopping giant, with two day free shipping, and holiday dresses, so I couldn’t decline. Here are some of the best holiday dresses on Amazon!

For reference, I am usually a size 4, sometimes a size 6. Usually a small, sometimes a medium. But, we all know, in the land of Amazon, that can mean nothing. Usually, I size up in clothing items coming from other areas of the world. To help navigate the waters of Amazon sizing, I have included what sizes I purchased, and what I thought of their sizing as well.

What I love about this dress is that it LOOKS so much more expensive than it is. The pearl detailing and the sheer sleeves makes it look very elegant and elevated. Note though that I said looks, the fabric doesn’t feel expensive. But, ya know what, it’s not! For under $20, you really can’t expect it to feel expensive. So I am happy with looks! I ordered a medium and it’s way too big. It’s very large. I would order at least your normal size, if not size down.

This dress is so flattering! It’s soft and screams holiday parties to me! This is a total Amazon holiday party dress. For ladies with curves, I would size up one. I sized up to a medium, and while I have extra room up top, it’s pretty snug on the behind. If you aren’t curvy, I would get your normal size. And, expect to get compliments all night long.

I loved this festive dress that was sexy, but not too sexy. The cut outs and lace are fun, but not too immodest for a holiday party. A lot of reviews said to size way up. I sized up two, to a size 8. I think that was too much. So, I would size up, but just one. There is a little bit of stretch.

My little helper obviously loved this dress! It is so fun and festive. It is very feminine with the ruffles. I accidentally ordered a size large and it was way too big. I really cinched down the belt and it was still gaping a little on the top. Judging by how much extra room there was, I would get your normal size, unless you are tall. If you are tall, size up one for length.

If your holiday party has dancing, this is the dress for you! The flutter sleeve is so flattering and fun and the weight of the dress is perfect for dancing! There is a lot of stretch, in this dress. I got a small, and it fit perfectly. Get ready to dance the night away!

While this dress was the most expensive, it still is at a great price and the quality blew the others out of the water. It easily feels like it should be over $100, if not more. The embroidery detailing I love for the holidays and has an old world feel to it. It’s very pretty in person and the dress itself has good weight to it. It’s very flattering, and has some stretch, even with the embroidery. I was worried about my chest area with the embroidery, thinking there would be no stretch, so I sized up to a medium. That isn’t a problem at all, so unless you are very busty, get your normal size.

Bonus Item!

I wasn’t even going to include this top in an Amazon holiday dress post, but it was too good not to share! It is perfect for more casual holiday parties, or date night. It’s so flattering and pretty. The lace is really nice and looks just like the picture. For under $20 you can’t go wrong with this top! I wore it out to our first holiday party of the season and know I will be wearing it non-stop. I got my normal size small and it’s the perfect relaxed fit.
