‘Tis the season for festive parties and holiday outfits! While I love a great party dress however, especially on the west coast, where laid back style is king, casual holiday outfits are where its at.
You still want to look cute and festive after all, but comfortable at the same time. Polished, yet relaxed. You want a holiday look that transitions easily into your life.
Sweater Dress
I don’t know what it is about a sweater dress but it instantly makes me feel like I’m in a movie. Living the best version of my life. In this sweater dress, I see myself as a 1970’s babe, heading up to a Swiss ski resort where I will hang out in the lodge, drinking white Russians. Any time you find an article of clothing that makes you feel like that, buy it! Maybe buy 2 so you have one to wear when the other is in the laundry.
Block Sweater
Oversized block sweaters are the perfect casual holiday outfit. If you are having a casual holiday event this year, these Spanx leggings are your best friend. You can overeat a little too much mashed potatoes and still look like a tall glass of water.
Fringe
If you’re looking for something that makes a statement, look no further than fringe! I love that fringe feels special and extra fun for the holidays. To celebrate the season, we went to Leavenworth, a cute little Bavarian themed town, tucked up in the mountains outside of Seattle. This sweater was perfect for sipping on Glühwein, German hot spiced wine, and playing tourist, while staying warm and cozy.
