Casual Seattle Style | Summer Transition Outfit

Seattle in the summer is the most perfect place on earth. That is a scientific fact. Winters, honestly, I could do without. The weather gets a little dreary after a while. But, summers, summers are why people live in the Pacific Northwest. They are warm without being too hot, sunny, and all around perfect. The fall months are a little cooler, and a little more rain, but overall it is lovely. It slowly transitions from days hiking the beach, to curling up next to a bonfire you just built on the beach.

It’s a casual atmosphere, I rarely wear makeup, and the transition from summer to fall is slow, fading from warm to cool. I like to of course, dress in layers. If you’ve read any of my Pacific Northwest fashion posts, you know I’m a big believer in dressing layers. And transitioning from summer to fall means, you guessed it, layers! Right now I’m all about anything cozy. I’m a big fan of hygge, especially in the cooler months. So, once the temps start to dip, I’m ready to bring on the cozy!

The days are still warm and sunny, but the nights are starting to nip a little bit more. I find myself curling up under an extra layer at night. Or when we go on evening walks, grabbing something for my arms once the sun dips below the mountains. I love this transition outfit because I still get to use my summer tank, but pair it with a cozy fall cardigan and warmer weather booties.
