With Galentine’s day right around the corner, and Galentine’s day parties, which you may be hosting, or attending, you might be wondering what to wear. What is the perfect Galentine’s day outfit?
For those of you who know me in person, you probably know how much I love parties and entertaining. If you’re new around the blog, you may not know that yet, but I promise, it will become apparent very soon. Any excuse to cook up some appetizers, pour something bubbly, and have people over.
When we bought our home, one of the things we specifically were looking for was an open concept, and room to entertain. While, this home isn’t exactly the ideal entertainment home, it does have good flow for a party. Then of course, is all the other things that go along with a party, including the outfit.
Finding the perfect outfit for the occasion is a great thrill of mine. Seriously. While some people love to run marathons, or play their favorite sport, or spend time on hobbies, I love putting together outfits for occasions. I’ve been known to create packing lists for friends and family, creating days worth of outfits for them. And, putting together the perfect Galentine’s Day outfit was right up my alley.
What I love about semi-made up holidays like Galentine’s Day is that anything goes. It tends to be casual in nature, because it’s women celebrating women, in whatever makes us most comfortable.
For my Galentine’s Day outfit, I went with a cozy sweater, in pink, because, duh. What’s not to love about cozy and pink? But, like I said, anything goes. It’s all about celebrating femininity and what makes you happy. You want some sparkle? Wear sparkles! You want some silk? Wear silk! You want some ruffles? Wear ruffles!
Here are some of my favorites for Galentine’s Day outfits.
