Hello spring! It’s been a while my old friend. I love that we meet again. Mostly because it’s time to bust out all the spring fashions! Hello lighter layers, fun patterns, and not dressing like you are preparing for a snowpocolypse at any moment.
Now, I am located in the Pacific Northwest, which like much of the country, does mean we still do need to have some layers. Side eyeing you Florida in your summer dresses already.
I had a spare afternoon, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to hit up one of, if not my all time, favorite stores, J Crew Factory for a spring 2019 try on session. You guys know how much I love my dressing room diaries. So let’s jump right in…

Omg! Can we talk about love in a shirt?! I’ll be honest, I have worn this 3+ times this week. I love it so much. It’s perfect for a spring outfit. The eyelet white detail on the bottom is so lovely. It has a relaxed fit, and is so comfortable! I wear it for work and play!

I have a serious gingham addiction. I have gingham curtains in my house, I have a gingham swimsuit, my dog has a gingham collar. Addict y’all, addict. The only size they had left of this shirt in the store was an xs, which fit, except for over my chest. Sometimes being blessed there can be a challenge. I ended up ordering a small from the store (with free shipping when you order in store!), it fits perfect and is already a spring outfit favorite.

Okay, so looking at photos of this navy military inspired jacket, I really regret not getting it. It is so comfortable. It’s made from a woven, thick, sweater like material. Perfect for a day with a spring breeze. It looks just as cute buttoned up and is perfect for a work environment.

Another one that I didn’t walk out the door with, and wish I had! I love this scalloped cami! It has a razor back, which screams warmer weather and sunshine to me. Plus, the scalloped neckline is so trendy right now, but a trend that I think will last the test of time.

You guys! In case you didn’t notice already, J Crew factory is KILLING it this spring! They can do no wrong! And, this stripe front tie t shirt is just another example. I am obsessed with this shirt. Wear it with cut off denim shorts for a super casual look, or, I wore it with a blazer to meet with clients for a professional look with with a twist… get it… twist… front tie shirt…

Speaking of blazer, this is the blazer I wore the striped shirt with! And, I am obsessed! It is such a classic silhouette, and it has stripes on the inside, so it looks so cute with thee sleeve rolled up! My only regret, is I didn’t buy this in multiple colors.

I wanted to love this shirt. It is the same cut as the gingham shirt that I did love. And, I do love the the subtle stripe pattern. But, the fabric was different from the gingham, and I didn’t love how stiff this was. A little too structured for me.

Let’s talk about this hat. I am in love. In fact, you might recognize it from Instagram. It is perfect for spring, I can’t wait to bring it to Florida on vacation, and I know it will transition into summer too.

This skirt. What to say about this skirt? When I saw it, I fell in love. In theory, it is the cutest thing ever. It is the perfect length, comes in different colors, it has the sweetest scallops, it has a elastic waist that is comfy, and it has pockets! But, on, I didn’t love it. I tried it with multiple tops, and I just couldn’t make it look as cute on me as it does on the rack. It was boxy, and unflattering on my hourglass frame.
