I haven’t been on here much the past few months. Trying to figure out the words to say, and what I want to say is much harder than I thought. Going through a near death experience is both incredibly traumatic as well as life altering in positive ways. I thought I would want to write about my journey as I was going through my illness, surgeries, and recovery. But, as time goes on, my recovery has taken quite a few sideways turns and downright back tracking. Writing about it while still in the thick of it feels too emotional, painful, and raw. So please bare with me while I try to figure out what I want this space to look like going forward in the future.
