For my birthday this year, I wanted to do something really different. I had seen Marbley on Instagram, and I decided that was the perfect way to celebrate with my family!
Just a heads up, this is going to be a very picture, and video heavy post! There is just so much I want to share.
If you’re a long story short person, then the quick and dirty version is, Marbley is super fun, completely affordable, and you should go book a time to get your art on, like now.
You can follow them on Instagram to see what all the fuss is about!
Alright now, the long version.
First off, what is Marbley?
Marbley is a new business that just last year came to downtown Coupeville. It’s a marbling studio where you can create beautiful silk scarves with gorgeous designs that you make yourself.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, because it’s what I was thinking too, but I don’t know how. No way could I make mine look as good as the examples they have hanging on the wall! But, the owners are wonderful and spend a few minutes showing you how to use the tools and create gorgeous patterns.
I was blown away by the scarf I made!
They also have a shop full of knick knacks, jewelry and local made goods.

If you find yourself in Coupeville, Washington with an afternoon to kill, I can’t recommend Marbley enough!
The owners first gave us a little deminstration to show us how to use the tools, but let us know the sky was the limit!
And, then it was our turn! I love how all our DIY silk marble scarves turned out! All of our designs turned out so different and unique!
