People might be wondering, “Jane, are you done talking about your minimoon yet? It wasn’t even your real honeymoon!” I did give an excited knee jerk reaction photo dump, and a detailed itinerary, but what we haven’t talked about is outfits! Also, I will probably be talking about my wedding/minimoon/eventually honeymoon for the next 90+ years or so. Just a warning.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at what I wore for the minimoon in Central Oregon!
Tank || Shorts || Necklace || Necklace || Belt
There is just something about a white tank and jeans shorts that is enough to make me swoon. Full disclosure, I was gifted this tank from the company, and it is a little on the pricey side. But, if you can justify it, lord almighty, this might be the one tank to rule them all. It is so luxurious, and hangs just right. It’s chic enough to wear under a blazer or jacket for work. Or, can be dressed down in an effortlessly stylish casual outfit. Basically, I’m obsessed.
These jean shorts have been a staple in my closet for years. And, here is my secret, they are Gap Factory which means incredible quality for cheap. I have them in every wash imaginable, and keep collecting more. The belt is also Gap Factory, solid leather, just a classic, high quality piece at a great price.
Layering necklaces is an easy way to transform any outfit from normal to a high end look. I love these two necklaces (1 and 2), that I think work together perfectly. So perfectly in fact that you will see me wearing both of them on repeat this entire post.
Tank (similar) || Leggings || Boots || Hat || Necklace
#WhenYourRidingBootsAreSoCuteTheyDoubleAsBootBoots am I right, or am I right? Hats off to Ariat for making these riding boots, which side note, I have legitimately had for 17 years, honestly, maybe longer, and they are still in perfect condition. You should see them after a little elbow grease and leather conditioner.
We went horseback riding in the morning, followed immediately by exploring Crater Lake. Which was not the best for sore muscles, but was just what our souls needed. This exact tank is sold out, womp womp, I know, worst fashion blogger ever. But, really, you should have a sweater tank in your closet for so many reasons. They are so cute, perfect for this time of year, transitioning from summer to fall. And, because there are no sleeves, they fit like a dream under jackets! This similar one I found is by a company I love and is distressed like mine.
These leggings are my tried and true legging loves, Zella. They are just so good! Classic for a reason. The compression is so good, it feels like you are getting a gentle hug all day long, holding in all your jiggly bits so you just look like the dime piece you are!
The hat is one I found at a super cute, local boutique. But, good news for you, I found the exact same one online! It’s so cute and the quality is great. Price per wear, it has already earned its keep in my closet.
Waders || Boots || Tank || Hat || Necklace
Oooo yeah! Now we are talking! Waders are so chic for Fall! I mean, its basically waterproof footie overalls. Who wouldn’t want that? Okay, so maybe the waders trend isn’t catching on for fashion, but, if you actually need a pair of waders for all your adventuring, I do suggest this pair from Simms. They are specifically made for women, so you know, they actually fit.
I didn’t get a good picture of my muscle tank, but I love it so much that I’m going to share it. A good band tee is so fun, I love that they are so trendy right now, and come on, Pink Floyd is a classic. I got lots of compliments on it.
Also not seen is my hat. This is a great ball cap. I wear it hiking, running, kayaking, and now, fly fishing. It’s quick dry and a great color.
Let’s talk swimwear! Basically, you need to do yourself and your body a favor and go get yourself this swimsuit. It is without a doubt, my favorite swimsuit I have ever owned. And, that includes the pink ruffly one I had when I was five that really was thee bees knees. This one is better.
I found it to fit very true to size. And, I don’t mean stick figure true to size like a lot of swimsuits. But, true to size while still having actual boobs and hips. So, if you don’t have those things, I would probably size down. But, if you do, get your normal size. I sized up in the bottoms, because I usually have to in swimsuits, and I wish I hadn’t. My normal size would have been perfect.
It comes in a bunch of different cuts, including a one piece, so there is something for everyone.
Also, canned rosé is always appropriate at the river. Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not. They don’t know you or your life.

Jumpsuit (Similar) || Shoes (Similar) || Necklace
You guys, I was a jumpsuit hater for so long. So, long. And I cry inside a little now when I think about all those years wasted NOT wearing jumpsuits. Just do it, that is my biggest piece of jumpsuit advice. Just jump in, and buy the damn jumpsuit. And, for everyone else who had embraced the jumpsuit trend ages ago, here is yet another one to feast your eyes upon.
As we have already discovered, I am a terrible fashion blogger, and things sell out so quickly, so this one is gone already. Cue the tears. But, lucky for you, the same company makes a few similar styles that are all just as dreamy.
I’ve gotten asked what shoes I like to wear with jumpsuits. The shoes I have on in this picture are my go to. They look amazing with jumpsuits in the summer months with just a tiny bit of a heel. Unfortunately, I have had this pair for years, and they are no longer available. But, these, are similar and come in a ton of colors!
Romper (Similar) || Necklace || Necklace || Shoes (Similar)
While it did take me a while to embrace jumpsuits, rompers I have had a long love affair with. Why did it take me so long to embrace jumpsuits when I love rompers you ask? Aren’t they the same thing just longer? Well, you are asking the right questions, and I don’t know what to tell you. It defies logic.
Anyways, back to this romper. Yes, this is a romper! Everyone always thinks it’s a dress. But, the fact that it’s a romper makes it only a million times better because you aren’t constantly flashing people bits of you that you would probably rather not flash strangers.
It comes in a ton of colors, and while it is such a statement piece, I get tons of wear out of it. It’s not only perfect for a minimoon, but also date night, wine tasting, concerts, and family photos. I wore it for our holiday card photos last year and loved it.
If you have curves, I would suggest sizing up one.

Shirt || Shorts || Shoes || Necklace || Purse
Okay, I am going to get a little sentimental here for a moment. Yeah, I know we are talking about an outfit, but work with me here for a moment. I have waited so long for this shirt. I have been following Taylor Wolfe with her blog and shop forever. She came out with it when the handsome hunk and I were still kind of a new thing but I had stars in my eyes, or er ah diamonds, and I knew he was going to be “the one.” Being superstitious and not wanting to jinx anything, I never ordered the shirt, I did order her champagne champions shirt though, which was my condolence prize for not being engaged. Years went on, and while I love our love story, no one would ever say we rushed it, and who knew if I would ever get to wear this shirt.
Minimoon was my first time getting to rock it, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Next up on my order list from her shop is going to be all the dog mom and gameday gear.

Shoes || Skirt (Similar) || Tank (Similar) || Jacket (Similar)
I had not planned on wearing Chacos with this outfit, but when you’re living out of a suitcase, and you cannot find the shoes you wanted to wear, you settle for Chacos and embrace PNW fashion at its finest. Seriously though, I love those dang Chacos.
I am a huge fan of the whole ruffle skirt thing that is in right now. This one is actually from several years ago, and I just wore it on repeat, hoping and praying everyone else would catch on. And, looks like they have! Could I single handedly take credit for being the reason these skirts have come into style? Maybe. I mean, there is no evidence saying I wasn’t the reason, right?
And, every girl needs a moto jacket in her closet. I don’t care what color it is, what fabric it is, real leather, faux leather, quilted, pebbled, smooth, etc. Just any moto jacket that makes you feel like a million bucks is the right one!
What’s your favorite look from the minimoon?
