So, let’s get started with the Pacific Northwest Beach wedding reveal!
The ceremony was really what the day was all about, but the reception was what made the day. Being surrounded by all our favorite people, all in one spot, with champagne flowing, was incredible.
The handsome hunk is in the military and a transplant to Washington. We chose to get married in Washington since a local wedding was going to be easier for us to plan and execute since we did everything ourselves. So, it was such a treat having all of Tom’s friends and family come in from other parts of the country and getting to introduce them to the Pacific Northwest.
We had our ceremony and reception in the same spot. Right along the beach. The day, really, the entire week, had been unseasonably cold, and rained all morning. But, just as the decorations needed to go up, or we wouldn’t have any, the clouds parted, the sun came out, it warmed up, and our wedding had the picture perfect setting. Even if the chairs were a little damp.
We then moved inside for cake and dancing. Aka, the best part of the party. We ended the evening with a sparkler exit, which was really fun. It was a last minute decision. I ordered the sparklers the week of the wedding, and hoped they would arrive it time, which they did. And, ended up being some of my favorite pictures of the whole day.
