Sometimes, it’s fun to eat something silly. Especially for the holidays. Especially for a holiday with a whimsical attitude like Halloween.
Smoothie bowls are one of my favorite ways to eat breakfast. It’s not only delicious, and healthy, but you can do all sorts of fun things with them. Like this Halloween smoothie bowl.
I came across a pepino melon at the grocery store. And, I loved the purple, which immediately made me think of Halloween. Now, I didn’t have a pepino melon recipe in my back pocket, so, why not make a Halloween smoothie bowl! I didn’t know the direction I was going in, but as soon as I cut up the melon it looked like claws, which played a fun part in the smoothie bowl, almost making it look like a monster’s claw!

Ooh, I’ve never seen this kind of melon before. But our grocery store just started carrying jackfruit, so I’m not totally surprised, haha.
