I’m a self proclaimed paper nerd. My favorite shopping trip of the year growing up was back to school shopping. Even 12 year old Jane knew the joy of new pens and paper. And, to this day, I love stationery, office supplies, and all things paper. I live by my old fashioned paper planner. I write people notes all the time. It’s a current goal of mine to write three handwritten notes per week. If you’ve been wondering what to get the stationery lover in your life, look no further! Or if you are the stationary lover and want to drop some hints, just “accidentally” leave your browser open to this.
If you’re a grand gesture sort of gift giver, how can we become friends? Just kidding, sort of. You are the best sort of gift giver and the people in your life are lucky! A writing desk is the perfect grand gift for a stationery lover. Having a place to call their own and write up notecards, recipe cards and practice handwriting is a stationery lovers dream! What’s great about writing desks is in the grand scheme of furniture, they don’t take up a whole lot of space.
Personally, I live and die by my planner. Without my planner, nothing would get accomplished. In college, I was known for planning out my procrastination time. That’s how serious I was about my planner, and after years of testing different planners, I always came back to Erin Condren. It’s the perfect, flexible layout, that really lets you plan your days and weeks how you see fit! And, to write everything in my planner, my favorite pen is my Lamy fountain pen. While it has an entry level fountain pen price, it writes like a dream.
My Lamy fountain pen is also perfect for writing in notecards. Like I said, I try to write 3 handwritten notes/week. And I adore having personalized monogram cards to write them in! Plus, with a fountain pen, your ink options are endless! I am obsessed with Diamine ink. And the shimmering collection is my absolute favorite. It has subtle sparkles in it, which is little enough to not look like I’m a 29 year old woman writing in glitter BUT enough to be so fun!
Stationery lovers out there, what’s on your holiday list this year?

I love that you strive to write 3 handwritten notes/week! I need to get better about doing that.

I absolutely love this!! That pen looks fantastic, and I love giving stationary as a hostess gift.

LOL that’s embarrassing, I can’t figure out how to delete my comment above and it has the link to another blog in it that I was checking out 😉 Whoops! Feel free to delete and I’ll repost!

I love stationary! But I have so many notepads and planners, I can’t add anymore to my wish list

Love me a good planner. I wanted to dive into the world of travelers notebooks or something this year but ended up getting myself a $6.99 mead paper planner from Sam’s. I also wanted to go back to a EC planner with the vertical layout and get into the stickers etc but at the same time I can not justify spending all the money on one.
