2016 was, by far, the best year of my life. I can’t believe one person was allowed to have this much fun. I travelled, laughed, saw friends and family, met new people and spent time celebrating with the ones who have been in my life forever. I know it’s cliché to say that I’m blessed, but I really believe that life is what we make of it, and I love the life I’ve built and the people in it.
Just a few of the highlights…
Celebrated my birthday touring a chocolate factory, umm yes please!
Toured the fields during tulip season. Apparently, I like tours.
Visited my farmer sister on the eastern side of the state! Seriously, how dang cute is she?
Enjoyed many a beer festival.
And countless date nights.
Caught a Mariner’s baseball game.
Played tourist in Seattle.
Saw Kenny Chesney in concert.
Relaxed with my boy Kimo.
Planned my best friend’s bachelorette party!
Went to a ton of music festivals.
Vacationed in Florida.
You should never take yourself too seriously, right?
My bestie got married!
Played with the little girl Koral!
Went camping and rode on an ATV for the first time!
Went to upstate New York & Vermont for the first time.
Took another trip to Canada. Hello heated salt water pool!
Visited family in Pennsylvania.
Ran my first 5k!
Went to Chicago for my 10 year high school reunion!
Attended a few holiday parties.
Celebrated at the festival of lights!
Rang in the new year with my favorite hunk!
I don’t think a girl could ask for a better year!
