‘Tis the season for perfect holiday party dresses! It’s basically my favorite season of all. So many parties, so little time. I live for a great holiday party. When we bought our house last year, one of the things that excited me the most was I was now able to play hostess at my own holiday party. Let’s take a look at all the best holiday party dresses on the internet right now.
AMAZON
I love Amazon and 2 day free shipping, which is apparent from my Amazon gift guide and Amazon wedding guest dresses list. Amazon is my go to, especially for last minute items. My key to shopping for clothes on Amazon is to read the reviews! Sizing can vary greatly depending on the seller, especially if an item is made overseas. Sometimes you have to size up, sometimes a lot! But, the lovely other Amazon customers will let you know. I have very rarely been lead astray from Amazon reviews on sizing. I can only think of two times that I purchased a size that didn’t work for me, and you know what, that was fine, because Amazon makes returns SO easy!
For our first holiday party last year I bought this skirt and LOVED it! Y’all it was perfect and you cannot beat that price tag. It’s $19.99 so I wasn’t expecting a lot, but it’s full, beautiful, lined, AND has pockets! You know I love a skirt with pockets. I bought my normal size, and it was a little on the tight side, but worked fine. I think if you are between sizes, you should size up. However, it isn’t like a lot of Amazon fitting where the sizes are way off. I’ve worn this not just for holiday parties, but also just because it’s so lovely.
ModCloth
If you are a lover of vintage inspired dresses then ModCloth is your dream shop. ModCloth has some of the most unique dresses, there is always something fun. While some may be a little too whimsical for my taste, think cat print dresses, some of my favorite dresses have come from ModCloth. If you want a truly unique dress, that won’t be like anyone else’s at the party, ModCloth is your secret weapon. There is a wide variety of price points, and while I wouldn’t call them low end budget dresses, you can get some beautiful pieces that remind me of artsy dresses elsewhere at a much lower price point.
Lulus
When I think of Lulus, I think of fun party dresses. Of course, that isn’t all they have, but they do it so well! One part festive, one part sexy, and you end up with a festive little number that you’ll be happy to dance the night away in.
Express
Express has been a constant in my life since high school. I love when a brand can grow and change with you. They offer good quality pieces (I still have some pieces from over a decade ago), at reasonable prices. And, what I love is they have something for everything. Work attire? Yep! Classic pieces? They’ve got them! Holiday party dresses? You bet! They have it all! And, don’t forget accessories! Express kills it at the accessory game.
Anthropologie
I saved the the best for last. The holiday party dresses at Anthro are really the best out there! Fun, flirty, appropriate, they are everything holiday party dresses should be. In fact, my absolute favorite dress on this list, this little white number, is an Anthropologie find. While they aren’t always the most cost effective options out there, the quality is always out of this world. So if you’re looking for an investment piece, Anthropologie is your store!
