July Glossybox Review & Giveaway

I’ll be honest, while I may have a bit of a shopping habit, I am always looking for a deal. I hate spending more than I have to, on anything. I have no problem spending way too much money on a pair of really great quality jeans, but I still want them to be on sale. And, because of that hesitation to spend more than I have to, I haven’t dove into the world of monthly beauty boxes. Since, I think there are plenty of others in the same boat as I’m in, I decided to put it to the test and do a Glossybox review.

Glossybox Review

I was really impressed by what I’ve seen from Glossybox from other customers sharing their finds, so I was happy to finally pop my beauty box cherry. They are a monthly subscription beauty box that I think is far superior to other beauty boxes I’ve seen. They offer truly, luxury beauty products for $21-$17.50/month. And, let me tell you, from my experience with this Glossybox review, that’s a steal. Of my 7 products, 3 were full sized, with one alone retailing for $30. I’m a lover of a good deal, and that my friends, is a great one!

When I broke down the costs of everything in my box it looked like this…

Dr. PawPaw Balm – Full Size – $10
Lustea Shampoo – 1.4 fl oz – $1.16
Lustea Conditioner – 1.4 fl oz – $1.16
Doucce Blush (Case) – $10
Doucce Blush – Full Size – $14
La Roche-Posay Cleanser – 0.5 fl oz – $0.55
Aerin Soap – Full Size – $30
Nail Polish Remover Pen – Full Size – $16
Sample Totals: $82.87

The box, without a subscription, costs $21 so I got over $61 more than what I paid for! For me, it was worth it for the balm and soap alone.

I made my first vlog! Oh goodness, you guys, this is not as easy as it looks. For a bonus entry in the giveaway, let’s count how many times I said, “I’m excited”. Or, on second thought, really, let’s not count that. Oy vey! Everyone gets a bonus entry just because instead!

So let’s take a look at July’s Glossybox reveal…

Have you heard of glossier? It’s a skin care and makeup brand I started using a few months ago. I LOVE their jelly cleanser and stretch concealer.

I am always fascinated by these monthly boxes. I did Ipsy for a bit and after a while I got bored with it. I may have to try a different one this time.

I have always wondered about these beauty boxes and I am like you, I hesitate to spend money especially on a monthly subscription. Looks like they give great value!
