Another month! Can you believe it? And that means another edition of the Love Your Closet Challenge!
Let’s dive in!
For those just tuning in, the Love Your Closet Challenge is a monthly challenge where we dig in our closets, and choose a different closet staple every month. And then, we are challenged to create unique and different outfits using that closet staple, once per week, for the entire month. This helps us shop our own closets, learn to style what we already own, and fall back in love with our clothes!
This month we will be styling… drum roll please… white jeans!
Now, I know what you’re thinking, it’s after Labor Day, and there is no white after Labor Day! Well, I am here to tell you that fashion rules are meant to be broken. And white jeans are meant to be worn year round.
Now, you can style your white jeans however you would like. But, for a little inspiration, this is how I’ll be styling my white jean looks this month.
Date Night Look
Just because date night is happening at home lately, doesn’t make it any less than and isn’t a reason you shouldn’t dress up! I love dressing up for date night at home. It makes it still feel like a special occasion. If you’re stumped for what to do, check out my ideas for date night at home!
Brunch… At Home Look
As I write this, we just finished up having brunch at home. Just because it’s happening at home these days, just like date night, doesn’t make it any less of an event or any less fun. We still have our Sunday brunch ritual. We plan ahead to have something fun and tasty to make on hand and make a fun time of it cooking in the kitchen together. And, just like when we go out, it deserves a cute outfit!
Running Errands Casual Weekend Look
Getting dressed during a pandemic can sometimes feel pointless, but I like to still make a point of getting dressed to do things like running errands. It boosts my self esteem and confidence. And, considering the grocery store is really the only reason to leave the house lately, might as well dress up for the social occasion of the week.
Casual Work from Home Look
Just like getting dressed to run errands, getting dressed to work from home helps me have a good attitude, and be productive. I’ll admit, sometimes I’ll rock my athleisure all day. But, most days I get dressed for work to go into my home office, just like I would if I was going into an office.

So are you a “rule” follower and don’t wear white after labor day? I personally don’t listen to that but I know some do. I’d love a white pair, but keeping them white is another story.

White jean lover here! I don’t know if it’s living in Hawaii or what, but I wear them year round without hesitation! I rarely take “good” photos of myself in outfits, but this might inspire me to hop on board with a blog post on how I styled them this month! Though to be fair everything is closed in Hawaii so maybe I’ll pose in various locations inside my house LOL LOL
