Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and it’s time to be picking out your Valentine’s Day outfit dress!

Valentine’s Day may get a bad rap, but I’ll let you in on my little secret. I love Valentine’s Day! What could be better than an excuse to have a fancy date night? In modern society, we are all so busy. When I get together with girlfriends, it’s basically all of us, going around in a circle, saying how busy we are. Why are we all so busy? No one wants to be! Maybe that’s another blog post. But it seems like, universally, whether you are a stay at home mom, a housewife, a working gal, boss babe, a student, however you identify yourself, you are busy. We all are busy. It can be exhausting.
And, when we are busy, so often, one of the first things we stop working on is our relationships. Again, why do we do this? If you ask 100 women, who are in happy, healthy relationships, what the most important thing in their life is, I bet the vast majority would say their relationship. I know I’m in that group. If the whole world went to hell in a hand basket tomorrow, I would have Tom. And, really, that’s all that matters. Maybe it’s because we get comfortable, and if anyone else in the whole world understands, it’s them. But, it seems like, when we get busy, date night is one of the first things to go out the window.
Valentine’s Day is a reason to slow down, stop, and say hey, person that I love and adore, let’s have a night that is just about us. What could be better than that? And, in a perfect world, none of us would ever need that reminder. But, the world isn’t always perfect, and it’s a good reminder to put back into focus, what really matters.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be fancy. But, if it can be fancy, why not? I am always in that boat. Yes, girl, I love my athleisure. In fact, I’m rocking some super cozy loungewear as I’m writing this. But, so often we are so casual in our dating, so I’m all over an excuse to put on that dress he likes so much. And, I love when he dresses up in his best digs.
I’m a huge fan of a Valentine’s Day outfit dress. It makes me feel feminine and flirty for our Valentine’s Day date night. I especially love dresses that have a little bit of a vintage feel.

I agree with you 100%! There is always so much to be done or as a whole we are so tired from work that we forget to enjoy each other. I think I might browse around for a cute Valentine’s dress now too!
