One year ago I decided that I needed a creative outlet and Typically Jane was born!
Well, no, that isn’t quite right. Two years ago I decided I wanted a creative outlet, and then it took me a year to get up the courage to start Typically Jane. Some of you may know that I use to blog years ago. It was such a rewarding experience, and I always regretted stopping. And when I wanted to get started again, those little insecurities, the ones you know aren’t true, kept creeping in my head. I didn’t have time for a blog! No one would read it anyways! What would I even write?
Well, here I am, a year later, and so glad I finally took the plunge to start it up again. Thank you for following along over the past year. I’ve grown, I’ve stayed up late working on posts, I’ve edited a million and two pictures (conservative estimate), and met some amazing people along the way. I got to celebrate 5,000 followers over on Instagram earlier this month! There were some amazing moments. Some of my favorites posts on Typically Jane this year have been:
